Choosing a Wedding Ceremony Singer

Music is a key element of your wedding ceremony! It sets the mood and expressing the feelings of this day! You will play the melodies again in your mind for years to come. The wedding ceremony singer not only expresses your style, but also the love between you and your spouse. Your wedding singer need not be limited to one genre, but can mix selections of classical, traditional, and contemporary favorites. An experienced singer will have an extensive list of wedding song suggestions.

It is best to listen to audio or watch video of your vocalist, if you have not yet had the opportunity to hear them perform. Choosing a singer is a very personal choice because every voice is unique! Be sure that you hear a sound that is soothing and inspiring to you and your beloved. Once this decision is made, it is very important to book your wedding date on the singer's calendar! Most professional wedding singers also require a deposit to hold your date. Ceremony singers should be booked at least 6 months in advance. Book early!

Browse through the lists of suggested songs you will receive. Some couples have many song ideas, others have few. Present your ideas, and your singer will do their best to satisfy your wishes. Some couples feel overwhelmed with the multitude of decisions, but this need not be. If you have few ideas, let the singer guide you with appropriate selections. They will know from experience what works best to give beauty and meaning to your ceremony. Stay in communication with them so they can be prepared with all that you need in ceremony music.
